Skillbridge Extern – Recruiting Coordinator | Black Rifle Coffee Company
The Tone:
This is a temporary internship at Black Rifle Coffee Company. The company is a veteran-founded organization that serves premium, fresh-roasted coffee to people who love America and supports veteran and first responder communities. This role is crucial for supporting transitioning service members by providing practical training in Talent Acquisition, helping them build foundational skills for their careers.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Interview Coordination: Coordinate candidate interviews with General Managers and Area Managers, managing multiple schedules across time zones.
• System Support: Manage candidate pipelines and requisitions within Workday ATS, ensuring accurate records and proper job postings.
• Candidate Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for candidates, providing clear and timely communication throughout the hiring process.
• Experience Management: Troubleshoot issues, reschedule interviews, and maintain a high-touch experience for all candidates.
• Process Learning: Document applicant tracking processes and learn workflow support for HR systems.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Must be an active-duty service member eligible for the DOD SkillBridge Program within 180 days of separation, with pre-approval for an internship lasting at least 90 days.
• Experience: No specific prior experience required; this is a learning-focused opportunity.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail and time management abilities, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently in a team environment.
• Bonus: Familiarity with recruiting or administrative functions, prior experience with Workday or other ATS platforms, and an alignment with BRCC’s mission to support Veterans, Military, and First Responder communities.
