Quality Engineering Summer Intern – 2025 Program
We are seeking highly motivated and energetic students for the 2025 summer intern program at Howmet Engine Systems.
About the Program:
The program consists of 10-14 weeks of structured hands-on training designed to provide invaluable experience. Interns will engage in a variety of activities to enhance their skills and understanding of the business, culminating in a significant project.
Key Program Components & Benefits:
- Structured Training: Engage in hands-on training, plant tours, seminars, networking events, and speaker training.
- Impactful Project: Work on a project specifically selected to add direct value to the business operations.
- Presentation Opportunity: Present project findings and outcomes to plant managers, supervisors, and mentors at the program’s conclusion.

Basic Qualifications:
- Candidate must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum completion of Sophomore level coursework from an accredited institution.
- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.
- Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program from an accredited institution.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a self-directed or team environment.
- Relevant internship, work, or research experience is a plus.
About Howmet Engine Systems (The Team):
The Howmet engines business produces world-class aerospace engine components, including investment castings, fasteners, rings, and forgings. Our expertise in vacuum melted superalloys, machining, performance coatings, and hot isostatic pressing enables the creation of high-performance parts for the next generation of quieter, cleaner, and more fuel-efficient aerospace engines.
We are capable of supplying more than 90% of structural and rotating aerospace engine components.
