Red Alert – Furniture Inspection | Rooms To Go

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Rooms To Go, located in a distribution center. This role is crucial for ensuring that all “Red Alert” orders — those flagged for specific attention — meet the highest quality standards and customer expectations before delivery, directly contributing to customer satisfaction and the company’s reputation for excellence.

• Mission: Ensure Red Alert furniture orders are thoroughly inspected for quality, meet customer specifications, and are correctly prepared for delivery.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Inspection: Daily inspect Red Alert orders for damages and coordinate necessary repairs with shop staff.
• Verification: Verify product SKUs to ensure the correct items are being sent to each customer.
• Customer Communication: Review customer notes for Red Alert orders, address discrepancies, and contact customers as needed.
• Quality Assurance: Oversee and ensure that all repairs performed on Red Alert products meet established quality standards.
• Preparation & Handling: Unpack, inspect, photograph, and re-wrap Red Alert products using appropriate materials, observing their safe loading onto trailers.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Others. This role involves physical activity and attention to detail within a warehouse or distribution center environment.
• Experience: No prior customer service or warehouse experience is required.
• Skills: Must possess an eye for detail, excellent communication (both verbal and written), and strong time management skills.
• Bonus: Prior quality experience is a plus.
