Purchasing Coordinator | Eravant (Formerly SAGE Millimeter)

The Tone:
This is an entry-level role at Eravant, a company operating in a manufacturing environment, formerly known as SAGE Millimeter. This position is crucial for supporting the daily purchasing operations, ensuring all system data is accurate, orders are tracked efficiently, and communication flows smoothly between teams. The Purchasing Coordinator plays a vital role in building a robust foundation for our supply chain and procurement processes.

The TL;DR

• Mission: Supports day-to-day purchasing operations by maintaining accurate data, tracking orders, and ensuring clear and consistent communication across teams.
• Tech Stack: NetSuite, Zendesk, Excel, Google Sheets

What You’ll Actually Do
• Data Management: Enter and maintain accurate purchasing data in NetSuite, ensuring all records are up to date and complete.
• Order Tracking: Monitor and update the status of orders, including backorders, late shipments, and delivery timelines.
• Shipment Monitoring: Track incoming shipments and flag any delays, discrepancies, or missing information.
• Internal Coordination: Coordinate internally with purchasing, operations, and engineering teams to support alignment on order status and priorities.
• Documentation Control: Maintain organized supplier and order documentation for easy reference and audit readiness.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level role, with a preference for an Associate’s degree, ideal for individuals interested in building a foundation in supply chain and procurement.
• Experience: 1+ year of experience in an administrative, operations, or support role.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in data entry, highly organized with ability to manage multiple tasks, comfortable working with systems and spreadsheets, clear and professional communication skills, ability to identify gaps and escalate issues, reliable and consistent in a process-driven environment.
• Bonus: Experience in a manufacturing or production environment, exposure to ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) or ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk), familiarity with basic purchasing or supply chain concepts, experience maintaining or working with structured trackers, logs, or databases, and an interest in developing a career in purchasing, supply chain, or operations.
