What You’ll Actually Do

• Editorial Content Development: Draft compelling press releases, media pitches, and innovative story angles that maintain an editorial sensibility rather than a purely promotional one.
• Media Database Creation: Build and diligently maintain a comprehensive and up-to-date media contact list, encompassing key contacts across both San Francisco and national outlets.
• Performance Tracking and Reporting: Accurately track all earned media coverage and provide clear, concise reports on the success of media placements.
• Event PR Support: Provide direct support for event-related public relations efforts, including generating pre-event buzz to maximize attendance and managing post-event follow-up to secure coverage.

The Must-Haves
