What You’ll Actually Do
• Prepare monthly financial information for a portfolio of properties, ensuring adherence to deadlines, accounting policies, and internal controls.
• Create financials for multiple clients, accommodating their distinct reporting requirements.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with clients and property management, providing exceptional customer service in a timely manner.
• Manage property cash flow, which includes paying expenses, predicting funding needs, performing disbursements via wires and checks, and maintaining a daily cash balance.
• Record journal entries and accruals, reconcile income, and document prepaid rent within industry-specific software.
• Perform comprehensive monthly reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts and bank accounts.
