Information Technology Project Manager | Jabil
The Tone:

This role is essential for delivering successful small to medium-sized IT projects, supporting larger initiatives, and strengthening the organization’s overall project management capabilities by guiding cross-functional teams and mentoring junior members.

• Team: Works with cross-functional business and IT teams, reports to a Senior Project Manager or Program Manager, and mentors junior project management team members.
• Mission: Provide leadership and guidance to cross-functional business and IT teams delivering small to medium-sized projects while strengthening organizational project management capabilities.
• Tech Stack: SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Planner, OneNote, OneDrive, Microsoft Project, ServiceNow, Coupa, Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tools
What You’ll Actually Do
• Define and secure approval for project scope, requirements, deliverables, timelines, and budgets from stakeholders.
• Manage the full project lifecycle, including execution, schedule, budget, quality, and change control processes.
• Monitor project performance to proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues, serving as a primary escalation point for conflicts.
• Facilitate comprehensive communication and governance activities among business stakeholders, project teams, vendors, and sponsors.
• Lead and mentor project team members, enhancing organizational project management capabilities through guidance, coaching, and training.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Manager-level professional with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience, focused on leading IT project delivery.
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of project management or related experience, capable of supporting larger, more complex initiatives under senior direction. PMP certification or an equivalent credential is preferred.
• Skills: Proficiency in Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies, project planning and scheduling, risk and issue management, stakeholder and relationship management, and strong written and verbal communication.
• Bonus: Experience supporting projects involving Microsoft 365 technologies (SharePoint, Teams, Planner, OneNote, OneDrive, Project), utilizing ServiceNow, and managing technology implementations and business transformation initiatives.
