Referrio is a company focused on transforming the job referral process with the goal of making hiring faster, more inclusive, and more effective. They are currently gearing up for their soft launch in two months.
Job Description: Project Management Intern
This role is for a driven Project Management Intern to help keep product development and launch activities on track as Referrio prepares for its soft launch.
What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities):
• Host Daily Stand-ups & Team Syncs: Facilitate 30-minute stand-ups, capture action items, and ensure follow-through.
• Lead Small Cross-Functional Pods: Act as the point of contact for sub-teams (engineering, design, marketing), assign tasks, and unblock dependencies.
• Draft & Maintain PRDs: Write clear Product Requirement Documents and user stories to guide feature development.
• Assist in Project Planning: Help define scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables for key initiatives.
• Maintain Project Schedules: Create and update Gantt charts, Kanban boards, or sprint backlogs using tools such as Excel, Notion, Trello, Asana, Jira, or similar.
• Track Progress & Risks: Monitor milestones, identify potential delays, and propose mitigation strategies.
• Prepare Status Reports: Draft weekly project summaries, dashboards, and stakeholder presentations (utilizing Excel pivots, Notion dashboards, slide decks).
• Support Launch Readiness: Coordinate pre-launch checklists, including QA, documentation, and marketing assets, to ensure a smooth soft launch.
Who You Are (Qualifications):
• Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Possess strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• A clear and proactive communicator, comfortable facilitating meetings, crafting agendas, and writing PRDs.
• Familiarity with Excel and/or modern PM tools like Notion, Trello, Asana, Jira, or a willingness to learn them.
• Demonstrate a self-starter mentality: anticipating needs, asking insightful questions, and following through on tasks.
• Passionate about startups and eager to learn end-to-end product delivery processes.

Logistics:
• Duration: 3–6 months, with the possibility of extension.
• Hours: Approximately 20 hours per week.
