The TL;DR

• Pay: $25.00 – $27.00 hourly
• Team: Collaborates with Project Team members, including Project Engineers, Managers, Foremen, and Superintendents.
• Mission: To support project teams in managing field operations and documentation to ensure efficient project execution and tracking.
• Tech Stack: HeavyJob, FIS (Field Information Systems), MS Office applications

What You’ll Actually Do
• Field Operations Support: Communicate with foremen and superintendents to support and learn about field construction operations.
• Project Documentation & Tracking: Assist with approving time cards in HeavyJob, verifying quantities in FIS for cost and revenue tracking, and completing daily activity reports.
• Resource Coordination: Place necessary material orders, survey requests, and locates to ensure timely project execution.
• Reporting & Analysis: Generate and distribute daily cost reports, and assist with calculations of material yields like concrete and asphalt.
• Jobsite Progress Verification: Tour jobsites daily with project management to verify quantities and monitor overall project progress.

The Must-Haves
• Background: High School diploma and a minimum of two years of education from an accredited college or university in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Experience: No specific prior experience required; previous construction experience is a plus.
• Skills: Proficiency with MS Office applications, strong written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem solving.
• Bonus: Previous construction experience and a valid driver’s license with the ability to drive.
