What You’ll Actually Do
• Ensure Safety: Strictly adhere to all safety rules and regulations, including the mandatory wearing of required safety equipment, to maintain a secure working environment within the industrial facility.
• Operate Production Equipment: Successfully operate various production equipment according to defined operational standards and product specification targets, actively contributing to the achievement of facility production goals.
• Maintain Quality and Cleanliness: Perform regular quality checks on products to ensure compliance, and diligently maintain the cleanliness of your designated work area throughout the shift, which includes executing detailed housekeeping duties like cleaning the paper machine’s dryer/vent equipment.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively and constructively with the broader team to achieve and surpass daily safety, production, and quality objectives, fostering a productive work atmosphere.
• Support Machine Operations: Operate a forklift safely and efficiently to recycle waste materials from paper machines, and proactively assist with troubleshooting minor machine malfunctions, making necessary machine adjustments, and performing equipment changeovers, which may involve working in high and/or confined spaces.

The Must-Haves
• Background: An early career professional possessing a High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience: Proven experience and proficiency in using digital tools such as a computer, tablet, or smartphone for various work-related tasks.
• Skills: Demonstrated ability to safely operate industrial production equipment, perform precise quality control checks, execute systematic housekeeping duties, and effectively contribute to troubleshooting minor machine malfunctions.
• Bonus: Candidates with one year of experience within a manufacturing, warehouse, or construction environment; those who hold a two-year technical degree or higher; individuals with prior mechanical experience; or previous certified forklift operating experience will be considered an asset.
