The TL;DR

• Team: Part of the APAP department staff, collaborating closely with APAP production engineers, supervisors, and operators, and interacting frequently with EHS, Quality, Maintenance, and Technical Operations (Engineering).
• Mission: To support and learn the essential tasks of a Production Engineer in API manufacturing, contributing to the efficient and compliant production of active pharmaceutical ingredients.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Process Monitoring: Monitor and analyze manufacturing processes to ensure efficiency and identify potential issues.
• Troubleshooting & Investigation: Investigate deviations, analyze root causes, and contribute to resolving production challenges.
• Documentation Review: Review and modify batch records to ensure accurate and up-to-date production documentation.
• Planning Support: Assist in the planning and execution of facility shutdowns.
• Project Work: Complete small-scale process-related projects to support operational improvements.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Undergraduate student in an engineering discipline.
• Experience: Completion of coursework required to matriculate into their intended engineering discipline.
• Skills: Process analysis, troubleshooting methodologies, root cause investigation, technical documentation review, project execution.
• Bonus: Undergraduate pursuing a Chemical Engineering degree; rising senior academic standing.
