Production Assistant | Insomniac
The Tone:
This is a non-remote full-time role at Insomniac, located in Los Angeles, California. Insomniac produces immersive music festivals and events globally, enhanced by state-of-the-art lighting, pyrotechnics, sound design, large-scale art installations, and theatrical performers. This role is crucial for supporting the Back of House Department in organizing and executing various festival area operations, ensuring a seamless and high-quality experience for attendees.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Area Operations: Assist Project Manager in developing, organizing, and executing different festival area operations.
• Document Compilation: Contribute to compiling advance documents relating to several festival areas.
• Vendor Liaison: Act as a Vendor Liaison for all related areas of production.
• Communication: Communicate production needs in a concise and effective manner to all contributing teams.
• Advance Materials: Facilitate the advance credential materials for all related vendors and staff involved with projects.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Early career professional with a passion for dance culture and live event spaces; seasoned in event planning, management, and coordination.
• Experience: Well versed in communicating with multiple vendors and advancing event production needs; proven track record to meet deadlines.
• Skills: Excellent comprehension and retention in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; effective and concise communication skills in electronic and verbal mediums; adaptive in environments that change quickly; high ability to balance multiple projects and tasks simultaneously; an active problem solver.
• Bonus: Must be motivated with an “Everything is possible” attitude.
