The Tone:

This Production & Operations Supervisor role is essential for leading the daily execution of critical production and operational activities, directly impacting the delivery of quality and consistency to retailers nationwide by ensuring compliance with plans, standards, and productivity goals, and developing team capabilities within a safe and organized work environment.

The TL;DR
• Role: Full Time
• Location: In-person
• Team: Reports to the Production and Operations Coordinator
• Mission: Lead the daily execution of production and operational activities to ensure compliance with plans, standards, and goals while developing team capabilities.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Planning & Allocation: Coordinate daily workforce needs according to production schedules, workload requirements, and operational priorities, and plan materials, supplies, tools, and resources for daily activities, assigning tasks and balancing workload among team members.
• Operational Leadership: Lead and supervise daily production activities, executing the production plan and ensuring timely completion while complying with established processes, quality standards, and operational requirements.
• Team Development & Compliance: Train, coach, and support employees on department procedures, safety practices, quality requirements, and operational standards, ensuring adherence to company policies and work instructions.
• Process Monitoring & Data Accuracy: Monitor product handling, process execution, and operational flow to prevent errors, waste, and delays, and ensure accurate recording of production information, product requirements, and operational data in company systems.
• Culture & Performance: Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement within the department, ensuring compliance with established operational KPIs and performance objectives, and maintaining effective communication with other departments.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Manager level. Possesses a High School diploma or a Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years managing teams in production, operations, logistics, warehouse, cooler, or similar environments. Demonstrated experience leading operational processes and managing daily workflows.
• Skills: Bilingual in English and Spanish. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Basic knowledge of operational processes, productivity standards, and quality requirements.
• Bonus: Previous experience in the floral, perishable goods, manufacturing, or distribution industry.
