Job Description:
Qorvo’s Product Management Internship program is designed for college students currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD program. This internship offers real work experience, exposure to upper management, and the opportunity to pursue full-time opportunities.
Responsibilities:
• Product Experiments: Define and execute product experiments to evaluate viable alternatives for material supply, identify and correct root cause for product failure, and improve or correct yield shortfalls.
• Customer Communications: Coordinate and participate in material generation for both internal and customer communications to ensure customer satisfaction aligned with product strategy.
• Customer Complaint Resolution: Assist in resolving customer complaints regarding parametric and/or quality failures.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with Quality Engineering, Product Engineering, and Operations management to ensure stable product supply.
• Problem Solving: Assist in problem solving relative to natural barriers/hurdles that occur during product life cycles.
• Process Documentation: Create Process Change Notices (PCN) and Engineering Change Orders (ECO).
• Cost Initiatives: Evaluate and implement cost initiatives.
Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing a BS or MS in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering preferred)
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Strong engineering mindset combined with business sense
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Strong organization skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
