Product Development Intern — AI Deal Marketplace | Inflection Point Partners

The Tone:

What You’ll Actually Do
Product Definition: Shape the product roadmap alongside firm leadership and translate business requirements into clear specifications and briefs for the development team, covering deal trackers, buyer mandates, matching engine, and agreements management.
Development Coordination: Coordinate and manage sprint cycles with software developers and the marketplace lead, tracking progress, identifying and surfacing blockers, and thoroughly testing new builds.
User Feedback Loop: Recruit and actively manage early test users from the private equity and referral partner network, then meticulously convert their gathered feedback into prioritized product decisions.
AI Application Exploration: Explore and evaluate how AI can specifically sharpen the core product, focusing on smarter buyer-deal matching, automated deal profiling, and optimizing workflow automation.
Launch Material Creation: Build essential launch materials, including user-friendly onboarding flows, comprehensive walkthroughs, and clear product documentation.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program.
• Experience: Demonstrates a product-minded approach, thinking in user problems, trade-offs, and iterative development rather than just features.
• Skills: Comfortable working effectively with software developers, hands-on experience with AI tools, and an organized self-starter able to manage workstreams with minimal direction.
• Bonus: An interest in M&A, private equity, or marketplaces; a technical or Computer Science academic background.
