• Mission: You will support the acquisition, operation, and growth of aerospace and defense companies by assisting with deal sourcing, diligence, and portfolio initiatives.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Deal Sourcing: Actively support the sourcing and evaluation processes for potential acquisition targets specifically within the aerospace, defense, and broader mission-critical manufacturing sectors.
• Financial Modeling: Construct and rigorously maintain financial models, conduct detailed valuation analyses, and prepare all necessary deal-related materials.
• Due Diligence: Perform in-depth industry research, competitive benchmarking, and comprehensive operational due diligence on target companies.
• Transaction Execution: Provide critical assistance throughout the entire transaction lifecycle, spanning from initial screening of opportunities through to the final closing.
• Portfolio Support & Reporting: Contribute to portfolio company initiatives focused on enhancing supply chain resilience, manufacturing capacity, and overall operational performance, while also preparing materials for Investment Committee reviews and ownership transition discussions with founders and sellers.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field, suitable for an early career analytical role.
• Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or a similar analytical position.
• Skills: Strong financial modeling capabilities and analytical proficiency.
• Bonus: A demonstrated genuine interest in the aerospace, defense, or industrial manufacturing sectors, combined with comfort operating within a lean, fast-moving, and founder-led organizational structure.
