• Mission: Advise on global real estate decisions by leveraging AI, financial modeling, and market data to optimize the portfolio and drive better financial outcomes for Workday.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Demand Forecasting: Support annual capital and operating budget planning by forecasting real estate investment needs and managing project gating processes.
• Stakeholder Partnership: Directly partner with FP&A, Lease Administration, Lease Transactions, and key business partners to determine the best financial outcomes for Workday through various real estate transactions.
• Strategic Advising: Provide insights, thought partnership, and scenario planning to the Lease Transactions Team, supporting landlord and stakeholder negotiations and complex occupier engagements, and distilling complex datasets into high-impact narratives for leadership.
• Data Stewardship: Drive accurate outcomes by ensuring that dashboards and AI models are fueled by high-integrity data.
• Portfolio Optimization: Develop, maintain, and utilize supply/demand models to create data-driven forecasts that inform long-term strategic planning for the workplace and implement rigorous processes to guide and improve Workday’s real estate investment strategy.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, or a related quantitative field with core domain knowledge in data analysis, corporate real estate, or business intelligence.
• Experience: At least 10 years of experience in data analysis, corporate real estate, or business intelligence, with global experience.
• Skills: Data-driven decision making, analytical rigor, financial acumen, stakeholder management, strategic advising.
• Bonus: Exceptional attention to detail, ability to translate complex data into concise business narratives, strong cross-functional partnering abilities, and an appreciation for global complexity.
