Summer 2027 Audit Internship | Huntington National Bank

The Tone:
This is a seasonal internship at Huntington National Bank, available across various office locations in Ohio, Michigan, Minnesota, and Texas. • Team: Audit Segment, reporting directly to a manager
• Mission: Support the Audit Segment in identifying, evaluating, and managing risk across the organization through meaningful projects, while building foundational career skills.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office Suite

What You’ll Actually Do
• Project Collaboration: Partner directly with a manager and audit professionals on meaningful business initiatives and projects.
• Risk Assessment: Support IT Audit, Data Audit, and Business Audit teams in identifying, evaluating, and managing risk across the organization.
• Process Improvement: Develop and present recommendations aimed at enhancing departmental processes and operations.
• Skill Development: Engage in day-to-day responsibilities, building expertise in analysis, problem-solving, risk assessment, and process improvement.
• Organizational Engagement: Participate actively in all Huntington National Bank internship events, including professional development sessions and leadership interactions.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate university program with at least one quarter/semester of study remaining after the completion of the summer program, seeking an entry-level internship experience.
• Experience: Demonstrated leadership and teamwork through extracurricular activities or prior work experience, with an ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
• Skills: Exceptional oral and written communication, strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Bonus: Relevant coursework applicable to the business area, sound judgment and critical thinking for developing solutions, and a strong interest in a career within the banking sector.
