Internship- Project Finance Portfolio Management | Societe Generale

This role is crucial in supporting the Project Finance business lines by assisting with portfolio management functions, including credit analysis, monitoring, and reporting, ensuring the effective oversight of critical financial assets.

• Mission: To support the Project Finance Portfolio Management team in credit risk analysis, monitoring, and reporting across various sectors.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Credit Review: Conduct financial analysis and prepare rating proposals for annual credit reviews.
• Transaction Processing: Process technical consents for transactions, securing all necessary internal credit approvals.
• Credit Monitoring: Handle various aspects of credit monitoring and comprehensive reporting.
• Reporting & Presentation: Assist in preparing quarterly watch-list and provision reviews, and present findings in meetings.
• Data Management: Record covenants in the internal tracking system and resolve any past-due items.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Graduate with a Bachelor’s degree from a Business/Engineering School or University, with a specialization in Finance.
• Experience: Strong preference for a GPA greater than 3.65.
• Skills: Proficient in MS Office; strong communication and presentation abilities; fluent in English; ability to work effectively in a deadline-focused environment and as part of a team.
• Bonus: Previous experience in Structured Finance or Banking; some exposure to credit agreements.
