Finance Leadership Development Program – P&S FLDP | BAE Systems, Inc.

The Tone:
This is a full-time, early career leadership development program at BAE Systems, Inc., designed for highly motivated recent college graduates. The company is the U.S. subsidiary of an international defense, aerospace, and security company that delivers products and services for air, land, and naval forces, including armored combat vehicles, naval guns, and missile launchers. The TL;DR

• Pay: $53680–$91300 yearly
• Team: Reports to a leadership team including a director and coordinators, with individual mentorship
• Mission: Accelerate the development and career of highly-motivated recent college graduates in finance to achieve their leadership potential.
• Tech Stack: Power BI, Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint), Microsoft 365 tools

What You’ll Actually Do
• Experience: Engage in three one-year rotations, each with increasing responsibility, across diverse finance and business functions nationwide.
• Develop: Participate in challenging rotational assignments to build technical and soft skills, leadership opportunities, and mentorship.
• Advance: Utilize tuition assistance for graduate school and complete a mix of technical and soft-skill training, including Power BI and Executive Presence.
• Support: Receive guidance and oversight from a dedicated leadership team and an assigned mentor for career planning and development.
• Lead: Attend annual week-long leadership development conferences to gain specialized training and network with executives and other program participants.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Math, or a related major from an AACSB accredited college or university.
• Experience: Possesses strong leadership potential demonstrated via academia, extra-curricular activities, or employment; includes internship/Co-op or project experience in a related field.
• Skills: Superior communication skills (verbal and written); strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and Microsoft 365 tools; capacity and motivation for hard work; ability to relocate 3 times over the course of the program; ability to obtain a Department of Defense security clearance.
• Bonus: Exposure to Power BI or similar data visualization tools.
