Plant Accountant Analyst | Autoneum

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Autoneum, located in Norwalk, OH. Autoneum is a global leader in acoustic and thermal management for light and commercial vehicles, developing and producing multifunctional, lightweight, and sustainable components and systems. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting plant operations through detailed accounts payable and receivable management, and contributing to essential financial analysis projects. The Plant Accountant Analyst ensures the smooth processing of financial transactions, reconciliation of internal accounts, and timely generation of financial reports.

• Mission: To prepare financial analysis, manage accounts payable records accurately, and reconcile internal accounts and finance transactions for timely reporting under direct supervision.
• Tech Stack: VIM, SAP, Microsoft Office, Excel

What You’ll Actually Do
• Invoice Processing: Daily process invoices in VIM, ensuring receipt verification and price validity, and manage direct bill approval processes.
• Financial Vouchering: Perform three-way matching for PO-related invoices and verify proper approvals for non-PO invoices, including reciprocal tariff reporting.
• Chargeback & Dispute Resolution: Facilitate customer chargeback follow-up, prepare SAP Sales Orders for deductions, and resolve invoicing discrepancies by coordinating with plants and vendors.
• Account Reconciliation: Conduct Goods Receipt/Invoice Received (GR/IR) account research and validation, perform A/P or A/R accruals, and prepare and reconcile accounts payable reports.
• Financial Analysis Support: Create reporting, planning, and analytical tools for periodical results, budgeting, and forecasting, and assist with internal/external audits in the A/P and A/R areas.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred in Accounting or an equivalent field from an accredited college or technical school.
• Experience: Accounts Payable experience is preferred.
• Skills: Solid verbal and written communication skills, strong attention to detail and organizational abilities, analytical thinking with effective problem-solving, and intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
• Bonus: Experience with SAP or an equivalent integrated ERP/GL system is preferred.
