Physician Leaders Fellowship | Vituity

The Tone:
This is a full-time fellowship role at Vituity, located remotely nationwide. Vituity operates as a 100% physician-owned partnership, led entirely by frontline physicians who are all equitable owners. This unique model prioritizes autonomy and local control for clinicians, supported by a comprehensive national system across 890 practices that collectively serve 14.5 million patients annually. The Physician Leaders Fellowship aims to cultivate highly competitive and motivated candidates, equipping them with strong leadership potential to become Medical Directors. This program is critical for shaping the future practice of their medical specialty and directly contributes to Vituity’s overarching mission of transforming healthcare to improve lives. The program has a proven track record, having produced numerous leaders including Medical Directors, Regional Directors, and Vituity’s current CMO.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Engage: Participate in a wide array of management and leadership experiences.
• Serve: Act as a member of the Vituity senior and executive management team.
• Innovate: Collaborate and develop products that impact the practice of your specialty.
• Understand: Develop an understanding of the clinical, financial, and regulatory issues impacting your specialty.
• Train: Complete leadership and management training necessary to successfully navigate this environment.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Completion of an accredited residency program in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Neurology, Anesthesia, or Psychiatry.
• Experience: No specific years of post-residency experience are explicitly stated as a requirement for entry into the one-year fellowship program.
• Skills: Strong leadership potential; Highly competitive and motivated.
• Bonus: Interest in becoming a Medical Director.
