The TL;DR
• Role: Full Time
• Type: Full-time (a part-time role of 20-29 hours/week is available if preferred)
• Pay: $50–$60 hourly (equivalent annual range ~$96,000–$115,000+ for full-time)
• Team: Collaborative, supportive clinic environment with realistic expectations, strong management, and a shared caseload approach.
• Mission: To deliver cutting-edge, personalized physical therapy for active, committed clients, including elite athletes, helping them achieve outstanding, lasting outcomes without the constraints of insurance-driven productivity.
• Tech Stack: Frequency-Specific Microcurrent (FSM), Normatec, the Neubie by NeuFit (DC-based neuromuscular re-education technology), MedBridge (for CEUs).
What You’ll Actually Do
• Focused Patient Care: Deliver hands-on, one-on-one physical therapy in mostly 60-minute sessions (some 90-minute), ensuring no rushed double-booking and ample time for quality interaction.
• Comprehensive Treatment: Evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals, and diligently track progress for active, motivated adults.
• Advanced Modality & Exercise: Provide high-quality manual therapy, advanced therapeutic exercise, and modality-based care, including our core modalities like FSM, Normatec, and the Neubie.
• Professional Communication: Conduct essential follow-up calls and new patient calls during paid clinic hours, and communicate effectively with patients and other healthcare providers.
• Clinic Integration: Complete all necessary documentation efficiently during clinic hours and actively collaborate with colleagues on shared patients to foster a team-oriented and positive clinic culture.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Valid California Physical Therapist license with 1-5+ years of clinical experience, eager to escape high-volume settings and invest in advanced skills.
• Experience: 1-5 years of clinical experience as a PT (or PT/ATC dual-credentialed), demonstrating a strong desire for professional growth and a commitment to ongoing learning.
• Skills: Valid California Physical Therapist license; a strong desire to develop and master advanced manual therapy skills; commitment to ongoing professional growth through continuing education; effective and empathetic communication with motivated patients and colleagues.
• Bonus: Experience or interest in specialized techniques such as Pilates, NAIOMT, IASTM, Mulligan, Jones Strain-Counterstrain, Upledger, Barral Visceral Manipulation, McKenzie, IPA, or vestibular/concussion rehabilitation. Mentoring is available for cash-based model newcomers or those with <15 years experience.
