The TL;DR
• Role: Full Time
• Pay: $16.50 – $18.55 hourly

What You’ll Actually Do
• Prescription Fulfillment: Retrieve appropriate medication from inventory, accurately input customer and prescription information into the dispensing system, and create necessary prescription labels.
• Insurance & Documentation: Adjudicate insurance claims and diligently complete all associated paperwork related to filling prescriptions and receiving drug orders.
• Inventory Management: Order and stock prescription medications efficiently, ensuring the Pharmacy Department maintains a comprehensive and organized inventory.
• Patient Engagement: Proactively promote pharmacy initiatives and clinical services to customers, providing remarkable service that enhances overall patient health.
• Pharmacy Operations & Compliance: Maintain a clean and orderly pharmacy environment, prioritize workload effectively, and strictly uphold the confidentiality of all patient information.

The Must-Haves
• Background: High School/GED or equivalent, meeting state-specific requirements for pharmacy professionals. This role typically suits an early career professional.
• Experience: Prior experience in a retail or community pharmacy practice setting is essential.
• Skills: Excellent customer service, proficient typing, strong organizational skills, prioritizing skills, neat and legible penmanship, and basic math skills.
