The TL;DR
• Role: Full Time
• Team: Part of a patient care team, supervising pharmacy technicians, clerks, and interns.
• Mission: To deliver outstanding patient-centered care, optimize medication therapy, and assist in managing acute and chronic conditions, while building lasting community relationships.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Patient Care Services: Actively deliver comprehensive patient care services and provide wellness support, fostering meaningful relationships with patients and positively impacting their health outcomes within the community setting.
• Team Supervision and Mentorship: Supervise and provide guidance to pharmacy technicians, clerks, and pharmacy interns, fostering a supportive environment and ensuring efficient workflow in the pharmacy.
• Operational Excellence and Compliance: Embrace and champion operational excellence by ensuring a safe, compliant, and well-managed pharmacy environment that adheres to all relevant regulations and company standards.
• Disease State Management and Medication Optimization: Play a valuable role in disease state management, actively optimizing medication therapy, and providing expert assistance in managing patients’ acute and chronic conditions.
• Cultural Integration and Company Growth: Actively contribute to the company’s cultural initiatives, ensuring they enhance overall success and sustainability, and align with Albertsons’ values of great service and lasting customer relationships.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy or a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) degree, or hold an equivalent certification from the Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Equivalency Examination (FPGEC) through NABP.
• Experience: Applicants are required to have an active pharmacy license in the state(s) of practice, ensuring all held licenses are in good standing without disciplinary actions.
• Skills: A Certified Immunizer qualification is mandatory for this role, enabling the provision of essential immunization services to patients. Additionally, candidates must demonstrate the ability to work a variety of schedules.
