This is an internship at goodr, located in Inglewood, CA. This People Operations Intern role offers a 9-week adventure to gain real-world experience, delving into the full employee lifecycle from candidate coordination and onboarding to optimizing internal processes, all within goodr’s distinctive, flamingo-level fun environment. This intern will help shape the team culture by researching workforce trends and planning team events.

• Mission: Support the People Operations team in managing the employee lifecycle, optimizing internal platforms, and shaping team culture.

What You’ll Actually Do
• People Operations Support: Contribute to the People Operations team across the full employee lifecycle, gaining exposure to daily company operations.
• New Hire Onboarding: Facilitate a seamless and welcoming first-week experience for new hires by assisting with onboarding processes.
• Team Events & Engagement: Brainstorm, plan, and support the execution of team-building and company-wide events to keep the team connected.
• Talent Acquisition Support: Coordinate interview schedules, correspond with candidates, and occasionally source top talent for open roles.
• Systems & Workflow Enhancement: Audit current People team systems, research workforce trends, and suggest process and automation improvements to boost productivity and efficiency.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Others. A strong interest in the employee experience and a desire to learn how a modern People department operates from the ground up, with a background or strong interest in HR, People Operations, Talent Acquisition, or Business.
• Experience: No prior experience needed. Must commit to the full 9-week internship from August 31st, 2026, to October 30th, 2026, and work fully onsite at the Inglewood, CA office, residing in the Los Angeles area for the duration.
• Skills: Excellent organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, high integrity, ability to maintain strict confidentiality, strong communication and collaboration, a love for creating workflows and improving processes, proactive problem-solving, and adaptability to a company environment.
• Bonus: Familiarity with Greenhouse, Asana, ADP, and Wrapbook is a plus.
