Key Responsibilities

As a Junior Executive Intern, you will be integral to our sales operations, engaging in a variety of tasks designed to provide a holistic view of the sales process:

• Participate in extensive sales training, covering fundamental skills such as pre-call planning, in-depth market analysis, and professional presentation preparation.
• Actively prospect potential new clients during dedicated weekly prospecting sessions, developing crucial lead generation skills.
• Manage inbound phone calls from prospective clients interested in learning more about the Paycom solution.
• Generate accurate quotes for inbound leads using our proprietary database, ensuring timely responses to potential clients.
• Collaborate closely with your office sales manager, intern program manager, and an experienced team of sales representatives to observe and understand the entire sales cycle, from initial contact to close.
• Track and manage all prospecting activities, leads generated, scheduled meetings, and daily tasks within our systems, fostering strong organizational habits.
• Engage in weekly professional development and sales training sessions designed to continuously enhance your skills and knowledge.
• Travel to the local Paycom sales office and the surrounding area for in-person sales meetings and client engagements, requiring reliable transportation.
