• Team: Works closely on an Engagement Team, collaborating with other Interns, Associates, Senior Associates, Managers, Senior Managers, and Partners, supported by a Performance Coach and a designated CR Friend.
• Mission: To support audit teams by gaining hands-on experience with core accounting and auditing practices, contributing to client service, and accelerating professional development through mentorship and collaborative projects.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Audit Engagement Support: Work on all aspects of an audit engagement, which includes managing cash accounts, performing bank reconciliations, overseeing accounts payable, searching for unrecorded liabilities, accurately maintaining confirmation logs, and meticulously preparing audit work papers.
• Service Delivery Assistance: Provide direct assistance with various client services, including audits, reviews, compilations, and broader accounting services, gaining exposure to diverse clients and industries.
• Issue Resolution and Client Workflow: Take part in resolving audit issues by diligently obtaining necessary evidence and making appropriate inquiries of clients, while actively assisting the team with daily client workflow and operational tasks.
• Professional Skill Development: Team up with other interns and professionals on hands-on projects, which will build real-world skills, expand your professional network, and position you for success in the competitive professional services industry.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting and on track to complete 150 credit hours to meet CPA eligibility requirements. Must achieve and maintain a minimum 3.2 GPA in both your major coursework and overall academic performance.
• Experience: Must have successfully completed Intermediate Accounting with a grade of B or higher. Candidates should also possess leadership experience demonstrated in student groups, extracurricular activities, or team projects. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
• Skills: Exhibit excellent communication skills, demonstrate sharp critical thinking abilities, and be comfortable navigating quickly evolving environments while embracing change. Must also possess advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint, and be eager to learn new technologies and software platforms.
