What You’ll Actually Do
• Attorney Support: Work directly with a minimum of four attorneys to facilitate their legal practice and case responsibilities.
• Document Management: Review, create, and organize legal documents to maintain accurate and accessible case files.
• Information Compilation: Gather and synthesize necessary data for discovery responses, interrogatories, pleadings, motions, and depositions.
• Case Preparation: Assist in comprehensive trial preparation, ensuring all materials and information are ready for court proceedings.
• Scheduling and Coordination: Manage calendaring for attorneys, maintaining accurate schedules and deadlines for various legal activities.
The Must-Haves
• Background: A Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certificate is a requirement, though a certificate may be specifically mandated based on regional, state, or client-specific requirements. This role requires an experienced professional with established litigation domain knowledge.
• Experience: At least three (3) years of prior litigation work experience.
• Skills: Strong Excel proficiency, robust organizational abilities, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Bonus: The ability to work effectively under tight deadlines, efficiently prioritize multiple responsibilities, and adapt to flexible or fluctuating work hours is valuable. This position also has an annual billable requirement of 1,600 hours.
