What You’ll Actually Do
• Pleadings & Filing: Prepare pleadings and manage electronic filing, adhering to Nevada and Federal rules of civil procedure.
• E-Discovery & Review: Oversee E-discovery processes and conduct thorough document review.
• Case Management: Handle comprehensive case management, file organization, and conduct investigations to support legal teams.
• Research & Support: Perform legal research to assist in litigation strategies and case development.
• Trial Preparation: Provide extensive trial support, including utilizing specialized trial preparation software.
The Must-Haves
• Background: ABA Paralegal certification is required, with a Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Candidates must have civil litigation experience and familiarity with the Nevada and Federal rules of civil procedures.
• Experience: Three or more years of trial and litigation experience is ideal, with proficiency in document management software such as Relativity and Pro.
• Skills: Demonstrated excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills are essential, alongside strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and excellent organizational abilities.
• Bonus: Familiarity with trial preparation software, including Sanction or Trial Director, is a plus.
