The TL;DR
• Role: Full Time
• Type: Onsite, with flexible shifts including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Location: In-person, San Francisco, CA
• Pay: $33–$44 hourly
• Mission: This role ensures best-in-class ground handling services through operational oversight, team leadership, and a focus on safety and team member engagement.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Culture Building: Establish and maintain a communicative culture where all team members feel valued, connected, and engaged.
• Operational Oversight: Dispatch, assign tasks, and monitor ramp operations, fleet performance, and baggage transfer efficiently.
• Team Leadership: Coach, guide, and mentor team members to ensure adherence to safety and operational metrics.
• Communication & Reporting: Prepare and present comprehensive safety and operational briefings to both internal teams and external customers.
• Staffing Management: Monitor and adjust staffing levels, coordinating re-balancing of operational crews as needed.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Leadership experience in airline station operations.
• Experience: Two years of operational experience within the airline industry.
• Skills: Excellent communication, conflict resolution, team leadership, ability to direct the work of others, and proficiency in aircraft servicing, loading, baggage, and cargo handling.
• Bonus: Proven skills in passenger service, cargo handling, fleet service, or ground operations; prior experience coaching and counseling team members; high school diploma or equivalent.
