This Operations Scheduler position is vital for the Goulds Pumps team, ensuring the timely management and procurement of inventory necessary to meet all shipment and operations objectives. • Mission: Manage inventory and procurement to ensure timely product delivery and optimal operations for Goulds Pumps.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Inventory Management: Procure and manage inventory levels to meet daily product requirements, ensuring operational and shipment objectives are consistently achieved.
• Order Fulfillment: Create, modify, and expedite work orders, rerouting work and processing salvage/scrap orders to support customer service and market demand.
• Operational Coordination: Collaborate with manufacturing personnel and suppliers to establish priorities, resolve bottlenecks, and make decisions on shipments to maximize customer service.
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements, lead problem-solving teams, and manage Lean programs within manufacturing operations.
• Data Integrity & Communication: Maintain system date accuracy and data integrity, communicate delays caused by abnormal demand or lost parts, and support visual daily management boards.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. A 2 to 4 year degree is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant materials experience will be considered. Core domain knowledge in Materials, Purchasing, or Manufacturing is essential.
• Experience: 0-2 years of experience in Materials, Purchasing, or Manufacturing, with demonstrated customer service and expedited experience.
• Skills: Strong understanding of Lean inventory management processes, product/parts knowledge, and manufacturing, purchasing, and planning processes. Requires initiative, creativity, assertiveness, strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiating skills, along with problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Computer Skills: Proficiency with Excel, Access, Word, Outlook, and AS400.
