Operations Outreach Specialist | Checkr, Inc.
The Tone:
This is a full-time, in-person role at Checkr, Inc., located in Nashville, TN. Checkr builds a data platform to power safe and fair decisions for over 140,000 companies and millions of people, particularly through its recently acquired Truework service which provides crucial employment and income verification. This role is critical as it directly contributes to revenue by manually fulfilling verification requests, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of core products. Your precision, professionalism, and persistence will directly impact customer satisfaction.

• Mission: Complete manual verification requests accurately and quickly to deliver core products and drive revenue.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Outreach: Own the end-to-end manual outreach process to fulfill employment and income verifications, ensuring fast and accurate product delivery.
• Communication: Make outbound phone calls and send written communication to HR and payroll contacts to gather required information in a timely manner.
• Validation: Conduct discovery and validation work to identify accurate employer contacts, preventing fraudulent or incomplete verifications.
• Management: Manage a high volume of new claims and follow-up outreach activity daily while maintaining top-tier accuracy and documentation.
• Collaboration: Collaborate cross-functionally with Customer Support, Quality, and other teams to escalate complex issues and contribute to process improvement.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Career level: Others. Core domain knowledge in outreach, contact center, sales, fulfillment, or other customer-facing operations.
• Experience: 1+ year of experience in outreach or customer-facing roles.
• Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, strong time management and organizational skills, self-starter mindset with a drive to hit productivity goals, deep sense of ownership over customer and revenue-impacting work, and a commitment to data security, confidentiality, and compliance.
• Bonus: Experience in startup or high-growth environments.
