• Team: Reports directly to the General Manager and leads a team of warehouse direct reports.
• Mission: To ensure effective and efficient daily warehouse operations, optimize site performance, and enhance client satisfaction through strong leadership and process adherence.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Operational Oversight & Goal Achievement: Directly oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, proactively devising, communicating, and implementing plans to achieve specific operational goals and objectives, while providing timely updates on progress or constraints to management.
• Process Optimization & Efficiency: Drive continuous improvement across the warehouse by actively maintaining Lean Six Sigma principles, conducting thorough operational analyses, and auditing current procedures to enhance overall efficiency and client satisfaction.
• Team Leadership & Development: Provide comprehensive leadership to a team of direct reports, managing all aspects from interviewing, training, and selection to performance management, delegation of tasks, motivating others, and disciplinary actions.
• Compliance & Stakeholder Relations: Consistently enforce all company compliance standards and location safety management plans, while building and maintaining strong, professional rapport with service providers, clients, customers, and internal peers and supervisors.
• Policy & Strategic Support: Participate actively in the development and implementation of location policies and procedures, demonstrating the ability to act as the location’s primary point of contact and ensuring continuity in the absence of the General Manager.

The Must-Haves
• Background: This is a Manager-level role requiring a solid understanding of warehouse operations and proven leadership skills in managing and developing direct reports.
• Experience: A minimum of two (2) years of hands-on warehouse experience is required, alongside demonstrated people management experience, including coaching and developing teams.
• Skills: Core competencies include strong abilities in prioritizing and organizing work with effective follow-up, analytical problem-solving, timely decision-making, conflict resolution, and clear, effective communication in both verbal and written forms across all organizational levels. Functional/technical skills in warehouse management, the ability to maintain performance effectively in a high-volume operational environment, and intermediate computer proficiency are essential.
• Bonus: A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred. Beginner-level exposure to Lean principles and 5S systems, tools, and standards is considered a valuable asset.
