• Team: Works cross-functionally with HR, Maintenance, FSQA, and Accounting teams; supports supervisors and managers. Responsible for leading teams and coordinating work without direct reports.
• Mission: To analyze performance, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, yield, and efficiency for day-to-day production and operational performance.
• Tech Stack: Excel; SAP preferred

What You’ll Actually Do
• Analyze: Scrutinize performance results to pinpoint trends, assess risks, and discover opportunities for operational enhancement.
• Improve: Propose and actively support initiatives aimed at improving safety protocols, quality standards, production yield, and overall efficiency.
• Troubleshoot: Investigate and resolve operational issues, developing and proposing practical solutions to maintain smooth production flow.
• Partner: Collaborate with various internal teams such as HR, Maintenance, FSQA, and Accounting to ensure integrated operational support.
• Lead: Take charge of specific teams or processes as required, providing coverage for production lines or managing various projects to support operations.
• Support: Provide supervisors and managers with crucial data and actionable recommendations to aid in decision-making and strategic planning.
• Monitor: Oversee compliance with established regulations and company standards, escalating any identified risks when necessary.
• Plan: Assist in the planning processes for staffing levels, optimizing production flow, and allocating necessary resources effectively.
• Drive: Implement continuous improvement strategies to achieve cost savings, reduce waste, and enhance efficiency across production activities.
• Build Knowledge: Develop a comprehensive understanding of the equipment, production processes, and operational systems utilized within the facility.

The Must-Haves
• Background: This entry-level role requires an Associate’s degree, technical degree, or higher in a related field such as Operations, Agriculture, Animal Science, Poultry Science, or Food Science. Candidates with equivalent practical experience of at least one year will also be considered.
• Experience: Demonstrated exposure to production, agriculture, or manufacturing environments is necessary, gained through work experience, internships, or academic projects. Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities are essential for this position.
• Skills: Possess basic computer skills, including proficiency with Excel. Critical thinking, strong communication, and effective teamwork skills are vital. Candidates must exhibit leadership potential and the ability to influence others, along with adaptability and a willingness to learn in fast-paced environments.
• Bonus: Prior experience with SAP systems is preferred. An understanding of safety and quality standards relevant to production environments is also a valuable asset.
