The Tone:

The Management Trainee will contribute directly to cost savings, customer retention, and the success of metric-based initiatives across various departments. This position offers a foundational experience within operations, preparing individuals for future leadership within the business unit.

• Mission: This role supports shop management processes, aiming to optimize costs, retain customers, and drive metric-based initiatives.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Manage Customer Relationships: Provide quality customer interface, proactive management, issue resolution, and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Optimize Resource Utilization: Coordinate with the rental department to maximize asset utilization while safeguarding lease customer needs.
• Control Operational Costs: Manage running costs and maintenance overheads by ensuring adherence to policies and processes for optimization.
• Support Business Growth & Satisfaction: Partner with Sales on new business calls and collaborate cross-functionally with Maintenance, Asset Management, Sales, and Marketing to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Oversee Shop Operations: Ensure accurate preventative maintenance (PM) scheduling, manage breakdowns, provide vehicle status updates, and plan Technician work for efficiency and flexibility.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field. This is an entry-level professional position.
• Experience: No specific years of experience are required for the core role.
• Skills: Strong PC knowledge/skills including spreadsheet and word processing software packages, strong mechanical skills, and a basic understanding of Business Finance, controls, and metrics.
• Bonus: 1 year or more in customer service with issues resolution experience.
