Operations Management Leadership Program (OMLP) – US – 2027 Start | GE Aerospace
The Tone:
This is a developmental program at GE Aerospace, located in the US with required relocation. GE Aerospace is a world-leading provider of jet engines, components, and integrated systems for commercial and military aircraft. The Operations Management Leadership Program (OMLP) offers university graduates a 2-year developmental experience with 3 assignments of 8 months, each building skills and leadership in the supply chain through challenging assignments, an integrated network, and relevant training. This is an excellent opportunity to take engineering studies forward for manufacturing and supply chain experience with broad exposure to the supply chain, preparing participants for promotional opportunities within GE Aerospace.

• Pay: $81000–$85050 yearly
• Mission: Develop early-career talent into future leaders in the supply chain by providing broad exposure and building essential skills in operational areas.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Manufacturing Shop Operations: Supervise day-to-day operations within a manufacturing shop environment.
• Sourcing / Materials Management: Manage aspects of procurement and material flow within the supply chain.
• Technical: Apply lean manufacturing principles or function as a manufacturing/process engineer to optimize operations.
• Environment, Health & Safety: Provide critical site operations support or specialized EHS media support.
The Must-Haves
• Background: University graduate with a four-year Engineering or Supply Chain degree, or other relevant major, from an accredited university or college.
• Experience: Not specified for years, but the program is designed for university graduates seeking initial career experience in manufacturing and supply chain.
• Skills:
• GPA greater than or equal to 3.0 out of 4.0 scale
• Must be open to relocation to any of 35+ US sites
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required, with the ability to prove U.S. Person status (U.S. lawful permanent resident, U.S. Citizen, asylee or refugee status) due to access to U.S. export-controlled information.
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to influence others and lead small teams
• Proven analytical and organizational ability, capable of coordinating several projects simultaneously
• Effective problem identification and solution skills, applicable in a team or manufacturing environment
• Bonus:
• Prior intern, co-op, or research experience in engineering or manufacturing / supply chain.
• A four-year degree in Engineering or Environmental Eng.; Environment, Health & Safety; General Science; Industrial Hygiene / Safety; Public Health; Environmental Science for OMLPs with an EHS focus.
• Preference for a major in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or Environmental Engineering or any relevant degree.
• A strong commitment to a career in supply chain or EHS.
