The TL;DR

What You’ll Actually Do
• Rotational Assignments: Learn across functions through leadership and technical assignments in areas such as winery/spirits plant operations, harvest operations, maintenance, supply chain, quality, performance engineering, EHS, sales, IT product teams, or Lean Six Sigma initiatives.
• Operational Exposure: Gain comprehensive exposure to operating procedures, company policies, project management, and performance goals across different operational areas.
• Solution Development: Develop and implement solutions that support critical objectives, including safety, quality assurance, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with diverse teams across multiple sites, effectively communicate project status updates, and actively support process improvements.
• Leadership Development: Take on Team Leader roles with hourly direct report responsibilities, coaching and mentoring others while developing the skills needed to lead people, manage work, and make informed operational decisions.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled in or possessing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Management, Operations Management, Engineering, or Engineering Management.
• Experience: Possessing a manufacturing internship or having participated in the Cultivate Internship Program. Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when necessary, and be willing to work at different sites or locations throughout program rotations, which may require relocation.
• Skills: Demonstrated leadership abilities with strong enlisting and engaging skills, excellent oral and written communication capabilities, and excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments effectively.
• Bonus: Senior Class standing in Operations Management, Engineering, or Engineering Management. Prior internship experience in operations, manufacturing, project or process management, CPG/winery/beverage manufacturing systems, agricultural equipment, glass manufacturing systems, or R&D stage gate processes. Knowledge of wine/spirits/beverages, including fermentation science, separations, winery processes, wine chemistry, new product development/innovation, food safety, and HAACP.
