Operations Analyst Intern | Acima
The Tone:
This is an internship at Acima. This role supports the core operational functions of the company by ensuring accuracy, resolving errors, and maintaining critical internal systems. The Operations Analyst Intern is essential for processing and documenting claims of error, making independent decisions, and upholding regulatory and procedural guidelines. This position plays a direct role in maintaining the smooth functioning and efficiency of various operational departments and supporting new technology implementations.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Error Claim Resolution: Research, resolve, respond, and report claims of error while maintaining a high level of productivity, making independent decisions for appropriate action within regulatory and procedural guidelines.
• User and System Maintenance: Establish accounts for new users and maintain updated permissions and skills, ensuring accurate and properly documented files are kept, and required time frames are met.
• Operational Troubleshooting: Collaborate effectively with all the Operations departments to troubleshoot and resolve login problems, including addressing, troubleshooting, and resolving issues specifically with inContact.
• Project and Application Support: Actively support the implementation of new operational solutions or applications, contributing to the successful adoption of new technologies.
• Data Management and Reporting: Perform various data entry duties and provide assistance with reporting and data analytics to support operational insights and efficiency.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Student pursuing an education, possessing a deep understanding of contact center operations and exhibiting superior knowledge of products, services, terminology, procedures, and systems related to their assigned area.
• Experience: Previous experience with data entry, along with a track record of being a skilled investigator and problem solver who thinks outside the box.
• Skills: Proficient computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Suite; strong verbal and written communication skills; and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously while capable of independently identifying and resolving complex problems and making solid decisions.
• Bonus: Basic understanding of Jira.
