About Vintage Fest

Vintage Fest is the largest free-to-enter vintage clothing event in the country. We connect vendors, collectors, artists, and thousands of attendees through large and small-scale markets across 8 states and expanding.

Job Description

As the Operations Intern, you will play a crucial role in the logistics and execution of all Vintage Fest events. This entrepreneurial-focused position will be pivotal for the growth of Vintage Fest and involves supporting a wide range of activities including vendor communication, event logistics, venue research, sponsor outreach, and critical day-of operations.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with comprehensive event planning and logistics leading up to each show.
  • Help organize and manage vendor information, applications, and communication.
  • Support setup planning, including booth layouts, signage, equipment coordination, and supply tracking.
  • Coordinate timelines, checklists, and task management across multiple concurrent events.
  • Assist with outreach efforts to potential vendors, sponsors, venues, and local partners.
  • Support social media coordination and content planning as needed.
  • Provide critical support for day-of event operations, including vendor check-in, setup, troubleshooting, managing attendee flow, and load-out procedures.
  • Help manage inventory for merchandise, signage, and essential event materials.
  • Conduct research on potential venues, local businesses, sponsors, hotels, and city opportunities.
  • Track event notes and contribute to improving internal systems for future shows.

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and demonstrated professionalism.
  • Comfortable working independently and proactively taking initiative.
  • Able to multitask effectively in fast-paced environments.
  • A genuine interest in vintage, fashion, events, small business, or entrepreneurship.
  • Familiarity with Google Sheets, Google Drive, and various social media platforms.
  • Comfortable with weekend work and long event days.
  • Bonus points if you have experience with Canva, ClickUp, event planning, vendor markets, or customer service.

Compensation

  • $27 Per Hour
  • Expensed Travel
  • Bonuses

Time Commitment

  • Approximately 30–40 hours per week.
  • Mostly remote, with in-person attendance expected for all event days.
  • Weekend availability is crucial, especially around major shows.
