Operations & Finance Leadership Program | Castleton Commodities International

The Tone:
This is a two-year rotational leadership program based in Stamford, Connecticut and Houston, Texas. Castleton Commodities International is a leading global energy commodities merchant and infrastructure asset investor, with more than 500 employees globally. This program is designed to identify and develop the next generation of leaders across critical Operations, Finance, or potentially commercial business functions. Participants will gain comprehensive understanding of global markets and CCI’s strategic approach.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Participate in four different six-month rotations among various support functions, gaining broad exposure across the organization.
• Gain hands-on exposure to critical areas including settlements, trading operations, treasury, credit, tax, enterprise improvement, and product control.
• Work on special projects focused on strategic initiatives and organizational strategy for the company.
• Interact regularly with leaders from Operations, Finance, and commercial businesses to understand approaches to global market opportunities.
• Receive comprehensive training designed to provide a well-rounded understanding of the industry, leadership capabilities, and technical skills.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Engineering, Finance, Statistics, Physics, or a related field of study. Expected graduation date of Spring 2026 or December 2026.
• Experience: Prior internship or exposure to the commodities markets, other financial institutions, or consulting is preferred.
• Skills: Excellent analytical and technical skills, superior communication skills both verbal and written, excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask effectively.
• Bonus: Experience with VBA is a plus, and database management experience is a plus.
