Operational Business Analyst | DHL Supply Chain
The Tone:
This is a full-time role at DHL Supply Chain, available in various locations across the US. DHL Supply Chain is a leader in logistics, providing comprehensive supply chain solutions. This role matters by playing a key part in all operating activities, including customer demand/volume planning, warehouse productivity, and labor efficiency. The position demands problem-solving skills, strategic thinking, and expertise in financial and operational analysis to support managers and supervisors.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Audit: Audit vendor payables for accuracy and ensure appropriate approvals are obtained prior to payment.
• Execute: Execute daily customer/vendor contract requirements and identify accessorial activity to ensure necessary documentation.
• Report: Provide support for the Kronos application setup to ensure accurate hourly activity reporting.
• Prepare: Prepare month-end close accrual and reclass journal entries.
• Analyze: Prepare daily and weekly labor analysis reports for operations productivity analysis.
The Must-Haves
• Background: An Associate’s Degree in business or two years of equivalent work experience is required, offering an entry-level pathway into financial and operational analysis.
• Experience: Two years of equivalent work experience is required. A Bachelor’s Degree in business is preferred.
• Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, effective communication skills (verbal & written), the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, and basic PC skill proficiency including MS Office.
• Bonus: Some knowledge of Finance or accounting, logistics industry experience, a working knowledge of Accounting and Finance principles (including P&L and balance sheet), strong presentation skills, and a willingness to travel are preferred.
