This role is vital to optimizing site operations by providing crucial financial and analytical support, ensuring accuracy in reporting and contributing to efficient decision-making across various departments.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Audit: Scrutinize vendor payables for accuracy and ensure all necessary approvals are secured before payment processing.
• Contract Execution: Fulfill daily customer and vendor contract requirements, identifying accessorial activities and documenting them appropriately.
• Reporting: Provide support for the Kronos application setup and usage to ensure accurate hourly activity reporting for operational analysis.
• Month-End Activities: Prepare accrual and reclass journal entries to support the month-end close process.
• Performance Analysis: Generate daily and weekly labor analysis reports to support operations productivity analysis and identify areas for improvement.

The Must-Haves
• Background: An Associate Degree in business or two years of equivalent work experience is required.
• Experience: Not specified in terms of required years; however, candidates should possess basic accounting knowledge, including P&L and balance sheet understanding.
• Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, effective communication (verbal & written), strong attention to detail, and proficiency with MS Office.
• Bonus: A Bachelor’s Degree in business, logistics industry experience, working knowledge of Accounting and Finance principles, a strong presentation skillset, and willingness to travel.
