What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Engagement: Greet clients, answer and route phone calls, and respond to routine inquiries in a courteous and professional manner, ensuring a welcoming experience.
• Administrative Support: Manage appointment scheduling, perform data entry, and prepare basic correspondence.
• Record Management: Handle clerical tasks such as filing, maintaining records, and organizing documents.
• Office Operations: Operate and troubleshoot common office equipment, manage office supplies, and help maintain a clean, organized reception and work area.
• Team Collaboration: Safeguard client confidentiality, support smooth office workflow by collaborating with clinical and administrative staff, and assist with special projects as needed.
The Must-Haves
• Background: High school diploma or equivalent required. Ideal for students currently enrolled in a psychology, education, social work, or related program, or early career individuals seeking administrative experience in a client-centered environment.
• Experience: Demonstrated administrative assistance and clerical skills, including scheduling, filing, and data entry. Proven ability to operate and troubleshoot basic office equipment. Experience interacting with diverse clients in a calm, respectful, and empathetic manner.
• Skills: Strong phone etiquette and clear, professional communication skills. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and reliability in managing routine tasks. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately. Basic computer proficiency, including email, calendars, word processing, and spreadsheets.
• Bonus: Current enrollment in a psychology, education, social work, or related program. Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and work collaboratively with a small professional team.
