The Tone:

What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Oversight: Contribute to managing financial processes and records relevant to the Public Transportation department.
• Business Operations: Support the implementation and maintenance of business administration practices within the municipal framework.
• System Management: Utilize and assist in the management of computer information systems vital for department operations.
• Data Analysis: Participate in tasks requiring analysis and interpretation of data for departmental reporting and decision-making.
• Policy Adherence: Ensure all tasks and activities comply with established municipal policies, procedures, and collective bargaining agreements.
The Must-Haves
• Background: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent, combined with relevant education in Accounting, Business Administration, Computer Information Systems, Finance, or a similar discipline.
• Experience: A minimum of two (2) years of experience in the field related to the position with an Associate’s degree, or four (4) years with a high school diploma. A Bachelor’s degree requires relevant experience in the field.
• Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in principles and practices associated with Accounting, Business Administration, Computer Information Systems, or Finance.
• Requirements: Must be legally authorized to work and accept employment in the United States; sponsorship is not provided. Satisfactory background check, including criminal, education, and employment history, is required at time of hire.
