Night Auditor | Aimbridge Hospitality

The Tone:

As a Night Auditor, you are essential for maintaining smooth operations and guest satisfaction during overnight hours, ensuring both financial accuracy and property security while others rest. You act as a key support, keeping the hotel running seamlessly and providing critical overnight reporting to management.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Guest Welcome: Greet guests with warmth and efficiency during the 11 PM – 7 AM overnight shift, managing check-ins, reservations, and late-night inquiries.
• Financial Reconciliation: Perform the Night Audit, balancing the books, finalizing transactions, and ensuring all financial figures are accurate.
• Property Security: Conduct regular security walks to maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and the property.
• Reporting Generation: Create daily reports and the Daily Flash Report to inform management about overnight operations and activities.
• Operational Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth operations and top-notch service during the overnight hours.

The Must-Haves
• Background: High School diploma or equivalent is required; foundational knowledge of hotel operations or a related field.
• Experience: At least one year of experience in a hotel or a related field.
• Skills: Proficiency with Windows operating system; Ability to use spreadsheet software; Competence with word processing software; Strong problem-solving skills; Excellent attention to detail.
• Bonus: College coursework is beneficial; Supervisory experience is a plus.
