• Mission: This person ensures the smooth and accurate financial reconciliation and exceptional guest service during overnight shifts, preparing the hotel for daily operations.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Guest Relations: Deliver excellent customer service to all hotel guests, addressing inquiries, facilitating smooth check-ins and check-outs, and ensuring a welcoming experience during the night.
• Financial Auditing: Perform comprehensive daily auditing tasks, meticulously reconciling financial transactions and accounts to ensure accuracy and prepare the necessary reports for hotel management.
• Operational Management: Oversee front desk operations throughout the night, managing guest requests, handling reservations, and maintaining the order and efficiency of the lobby area.
• Reporting and Documentation: Generate and review vital daily reports, including financial summaries and occupancy data, to provide accurate information for the subsequent operational shifts.
• Problem Resolution: Proactively identify and resolve any guest issues or operational challenges that arise during the overnight period, demonstrating effective problem-solving and communication skills.
