What You’ll Actually Do
• Patient Assessment: Assess patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural, and discharge planning needs, reviewing history, diagnostics, and laboratory data.
• Care Planning: Formulate, initiate, and revise comprehensive patient care plans, including discharge plans, in collaboration with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team.
• Care Implementation: Implement physician orders and nursing plans of care through direct patient care, delegation, and supervision, ensuring compliance with policies and standards.
• Outcome Evaluation: Evaluate patient and family responses to care and teaching, assessing progress toward goals and revising the plan of care as needed.
• Clinical Documentation: Document all aspects of patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in the patient record in a timely and accurate manner.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Early Career, with recent or upcoming graduation from an accredited nursing program, demonstrating no more than 12 months of prior Registered Nurse experience.
• Experience: Less than one year of Registered Nurse experience. Previous healthcare experience is preferred to enhance readiness for the program.
• Skills: Current and valid RN license in the state of practice (or temporary/interim, or compact licensure) and current BLS certification. Ability to apply specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills to comprehensively assess, plan, provide, and evaluate patient care.
• Bonus: A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), professional certification, or additional related education and/or experience are considered advantageous.
