The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Vitalant, located in Colorado Springs, CO. As a Mobile Phlebotomist, you will play a crucial role in delivering these services by setting up and managing blood drives. Your work ensures comfortable and convenient donation experiences, directly contributing to saving lives and positively impacting your local community.

The TL;DR

• Pay: $19.39–$20.60 hourly
• Mission: Provide vital clinical services by facilitating comfortable and consistent blood donation experiences at mobile blood drives.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Assist the donor care team in setting up mobile blood drives at various locations within a 200-mile radius.
• Greet and inform blood donors, actively working to create a comfortable and consistent donation experience.
• Perform venipuncture (blood draws) on donors, leveraging comprehensive paid training provided by Vitalant.
• Accurately manage and organize all donor information and records.
• Receive continuous coaching, encouragement, and support from managers invested in your professional growth and success.

The Must-Haves
• Background: High School Diploma or GED is required. This role is open to individuals starting their career or with prior phlebotomy experience, with extensive training provided.
• Experience: Must possess an active driver’s license with a clean driving record and the ability to travel regularly for mobile blood drives. The comprehensive training includes 8 weeks of company-paid travel to Denver.
• Skills: Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, essential for setting up and managing mobile blood drive equipment.
