The Tone:
This is an internship at The Michaels Organization, located in Camden, NJ. The TL;DR
• Role: Internship
• Type: Temporary (Monday through Thursday from 9 AM – 5 PM for a total of 28 hours)
• Location: In-person, Camden, NJ
• Pay: $15.92 hourly
• Team: MMA Corp department
• Mission: This intern will apply academic coursework to real-world experience by providing essential support for operational, organizational, and communication needs within the real estate business.
• Tech Stack: Google Drive, Microsoft Office, other business platforms
What You’ll Actually Do
• Document Organization: Organize documents for transactions related to properties assuming management.
• Lead Engagement: Contact leads and prospects for communities currently in development.
• Platform Migration: Move files from Google Drive to the new policy platform and assist with document formatting.
• Event Support: Assist the committee supporting the annual leadership meeting’s teambuilding charity event.
• Administrative & Project Support: Provide administrative and project support to the Transitions, Facilities, and Admin teams, including setting up business license requirement trackers.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Current high school student with an interest in learning about real estate, property management, business operations, facilities, or administration.
• Experience: Comfortable using computers and learning new systems, including Google Drive and Microsoft Office.
• Skills: Strong writing, customer service, communication, and organizational skills; proactive, dependable, professional, and eager to learn; ability to follow direction, ask questions, manage assigned tasks, and maintain confidentiality.
